Here’s a new experimental custom project… This idea came after i saw some of Indonesian customizer done this.. Well this one actually a new trend in town.. started from japan.. customized scooter trend is spreading all around the world.. In Malaysia, this trend is more popular in East Malaysia… (Yeah!~ im from the east).. but very rare to spot in West Malaysia… (Most car/motorcycle trend start from East… ex. Euro, VIP, USDM, Scooters and 4X4s)…
Anyway, enough of the talk.. lets start with the progress..

Starts with Welly’s Yamaha Tmax and a custom chopper by Maisto..

Just out from the box…..

Chopper by Maisto.. hurm.. looks like a cross over of a superbike and a chopper.. wutever.. i just want those wheels…

Yamaha!!~

Started by ripping of the Chopper…

Lowered the rear suspension…

Then continue to the chopper… all bodykit has been removed…

Maisto really dont want ppl like me to open this part up.. they stick them together using super glue.. (eww.. not so standard for a OEM produt to use super glue..).. end up i just broke this part off..

Back to the scooter… I’ve start by dismantle all the component of the scooter.. Since all part were screw together it is not a big problem to dismantle it cleanly…

Need to remove the mudguard cover in the pic in order to make it fit for the new fork…

Test fit no1…. hurm.. looks weird.. the front fork angle was wrong…

Need to lower it more.. Still considred as high..

Then after several try and error here’s the final look.. ( not so final yet..)… the best thing is the stand is functional.. the scooter cannot stand without it..

Here’s another shot… need some bodywork for the under flaring to make it look neat.. and lastly a new paintjob…
Progress to be continue… stay tuned for more….
so cool!it’s like the traditional tunig japanise scooter!
